Re: Mk17 heartbreaker build: Update 06/21 new arc reactor prop
ok time to update this thread. . .not working much with the heartbreaker and the mark 42 due to a special kid size mark 6 commissioned suit (see my other thread) but i managed to build a ironman 3 arc reactor prop using scrap materials on my old workshop before we move into a new house. . .
this arc reactor is made of a 12-LED headlight which i bought locally. .it has a battery pack which can light it up to 8 hours of use (although i'm not sure if this is true, i might try it tonight) and also comes with a charger. . .then the detail (the silver circle-triangle detail) is made of a 4mm scrap rubber foam which i cut into shape then sealed and painted it with regular silver. . .the white details are spray can caps. . .which i heated with a heat gun to straighten them up then cut them accordingly to the details. . .

and me wearing it underneath my shirt i had to photoshop my face because i'm too haggard on this picture lol
the external detail is white. . .the led is also white in color. . .but it emits a cool blue color due to a second layer of spray can cap underneath the white one. . .which is obviously blue. . .
i'm still trying to get myself ready to get back to work with the heartbreaker and my new mark 42. . .i'm planning to finish all of my planned suits by the end of september. . .
