Thought I would show some progress on my helmet. Definitely not as good as yours but looking ok.
All painted (wish the red wasn't so...red lol) and now leave for a couple of days before hitting it with the 1500 sandpaper, clear coat & inking it.

This looks really well done

I used the same red from the Mrk 8 helmet...so it wasn't so "red" its the inferno red from Dupli-color

With the inking and clear it will look fantastic

Biggeek do you recommend sanding the whole helmet with 1500 or 2000 grit before clearing?

I usually do 1000 grit, then sand the clear with 2000 and polish it if you want it super shiny but with the ink/weathering I never make mine that shiny

Here are some more pics of my Biggeek Iron Patriot helmet after sanding back paint and hitting it with a clear coat.

Guys if you are on the fence about this helmet...DONT! Its an awesome helmet with little prep.

Now to let it dry for a week and decide whether I should cut the clear back and polish it to a mirror....not really movie accurate that way but would look amazing. Also got to do the inking in some of the crevices.

Hope you guys like mine so far.

Glad you like it just a little trim and some sanding..you'll be ready for paint. I would definitely soap it down well before putting paint/primer anywhere near it

Wanted to let you know I got mine in and started cleaning it up that day...this is very well made and looks amazing. Hope to have mine painted this week and will be looking to see what else you put out, as this is just one of many I will be buying.

Just made the Paypal transfer for the faceplate.

For the people about the paint their helmet, I found the duplicolor metalcast anodized red on a first coat of silver or chrome the best result I had for the red. It has this shine other paint do not have, like a captain America aluminum shield.
And if you don't have a helmet already, go buy one while Biggeek is still making them !
