That color looks awesome. Nice build Stealth. If it wasn't for you and your helpful vids I don't think I would have ever started my Red Hood build.

Thanks!

Hi Everyone
I haven't worked on this in a while. Thought I'd post an update.

I've finished the basic paint job on the back section of the Torso.
It's no where near as good as a lot of you guys on here. I just did my best.

I should have the front section done tomorrow.
After that, I'll see about adding some finer details like a blackwash to the lines and what not as someone suggested to me earlier.

thanks for looking

looks great, I see mention of autocolors to match. Anyone have microfische #'s of these paints?

Re: IRON MAN - Mark III Armor - Update-Sept.20. 2011 - page 14 - Back Section Painte

Thanks guys. Just waiting for a nice day to finish up the front chest section of the suit.

Winter is not too far away and I dunno how much more I'll get done on this until spring. Maybe I'll move to Cali and be a bum sleep on Delray's couch so I can make props all day and eat his food.

trendkiller - I'm don't think my colors are screen. accurate but they are Cherry Red Metallic and Sunburst Gold both from Duplicolor - "Perfect Match line. Doing the job so far. :)

Dont let old man winter stop you Stef ! Just the choice of materials needs to change, ones that can be used indoors,, such as epoxamite and since you molding your parts use the sheetrock, almost time for me to change from automotive body filler to that as well

yeah, you're right Matt. I think I can still pull it off with the Sheetrock. (also saw a commercial recently for it and chuckled)

I'll still keep building. Thanks for the reminder, that motivated me and gave me hope :)
