Does Anyone Recognize This?

i was just wondering if anyone recognized this and if anyone knows of who made it or if its a recast?.they are being sold raw on ebay

If it's not a recast it's an extremely poor sculpt.  A link to the auction or the sellers name would help allot here.  Easiest way to tell a recast (at least for me) is by looking at the edges and small details (especially the cheek and tri-hose area).  It looks like there's a ton of paint on it as well, which could account for the loss of some details.  Also, where the cheek hose attaches almost looks like there should be (or is) the small detail piece that goes in the hole.  I was told from the start to avoid Ebay and stick with buying from known Lair members.  After all, if a Lair member is selling on Ebay there's a very good chance they are selling here too.

Yeah thats a recast also he says they are black pics are making it look silver now that looks like silver paint to me.
either that or he has the biggest flash on his camera i have ever seen?

Haha, i saw this today also. A fool if he expects anyone to believe that it's black and not silver.

After seeing the auction there is no doubt in my mind that it's a recast.  Who's or where from I have no idea.  I'm also retracting my statement that there's "a ton of paint on it".  I do believe that it IS black.  I've had the same thing happen to me taking pictures of satin black surfaces under bright lights... digital cameras don't like that combination.  Comparing it to the pics I have (satin black under bright lights) leaves me with no doubt it is black.  That aside, it's still not something I would consider, unless you're into supporting recasting, which I sincerely hope no one here at the Lair is.

I bought a wolf bio from this guy a couple of years ago and if its the same material then it is black. No idea who made this bio but its warped to **** by the looks of it.

i do not support recasting in any way shape or form and have no interest in buying the bio i was simply curious about it as i thought it was a recast and wanted to know other peoples opinions on it

To me, it looks like it might be a casting of the Sideshow/ADI Scar helmet; and a very, very poor one at that.
