Do you think I can get by using Kydex for this?

I was thinking of using .080" black Kydex to make a multi-tool belt holster like the one Adam made from aluminum in his one day build. I can heat form it but I was wondering about strength and durability. This Kydex is often used to make gun holsters so I figured this wasn't too far a stretch.

What say you all?

I have a few Kydex sheaths for knives and they have held up well, i don't see why it would'nt for a tool belt

I used to do Kydex holsters and I think it will work very well. You may want to change up the design a little bit but I think Kydex will be awesome. I was planning to make an Adam-like holster and now I think it's gonna be made this way. Great idea!

Thanks for the info. I was going to design my own too. I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with. I am all out of Kydex and will have to order some more. May be next weekend before I get started.
