I am almost done with this one. I am so happy about this item. The 2 famliy photos are really high resolution! This is a prop I have wanted to do for a long time!

I was just talking to someone about having this made. The only stumbling block was the photos. What's the scoop with the pics?

The scoop on the pics is I had been talking to the original owner about this prop and we worked out a deal and they were kind enough to send me JPEG photo's of the real prop. It was a deal that meant I am in no way authorized to post, sell, e-mail, lend or have photographed(unless watermarked and from obscure angles) these pics. They did authorize me to make my own wallet. So out of respect for the original prop owner this is as far as these will go. Thank you guys.

Sorry for diggin this up...

Finally I'm getting my credit cards the next time. And I think I have 2/3 of the photos in acceptable quality, I can use.

But I'm not able to find the correct or a close tri folded wallet. Just bi folded.

When I find a wallet that looks right, it has wrong credit card cases or just not the photo inserts.

So, does anyone know a good source or a seller, where I can get a close wallet?

They're near impossible to find. They are brown eel skin trifold with a single seam on the outside. All the newer ones have the plastic license window or incorrect credit card holders. Took me 5 years to find a good one. There are no maker marks inside mine.

As I said, a close enough would be ok, too. But I will check again at the weekend.
