"Luke's Lost Lightsaber"...try to repeat that one without stuttering Coming soon from Disney+Was this mystery ever solved? How was Luke’s retrieved from Bespin and ended up in Mas Kenada’s possession?
I wouldn't call Maz having Luke's old lightsaber a plot hole. It's an inconsistency to be certain but not a plot hole since it really doesn't affect the plot. Luke's lightsaber was just macguffin/plot device and it was there simply to move the plot along but it wouldn't have made any difference which version of his lightsaber it was.You know, in all seriousness, it would have made more sense for Maz to have had Luke’s ROTJ lightsaber hilt in her possession vs. the GRAFLEX.

Perhaps it would have provided a clue to the missing Jedi Master in TFA?
Choosing the GRAFLEX and creating a HUGE plot hole was one of many story missteps Disney created, right out of the gate, with the objectively awful Sequel Trilogy.
