Just thought I'd share this.

Been working on it the last couple of days. Not finished yet, but getting there.

Would you say that Xur is another problem with the game?
In the last year weren't players able to get weapons and armor that previously could only be obtained through quests, loot chests, etc.?

I got the Gally pretty early on but the Vex and Fatebringer were another matter. I watched everyone around me get one before me which was frustrating. But...when I did get those rare rng items it was sooo gratifying. It's a mixed bag. Vanilla Destiny was brutal with rng. I would love to do away with 3 of coins and xur. And acquire exotics though loot chests and exotic quests.

Agreed. I had SIX Ballerhorn's by the time my buddy got his first. I got two of them in back to back Nightfall Strikes with two characters in the same day. The RNG was just absurd at times.

I really don't have a problem with Xur. Except for the fact that he's offered that stupid "No Land beyond" twice in the last few weeks.
Which is no biggie since I already had one, but still.

I haven't seen Xur offer exotic items that you can only get from a quest. I had year 1 Fatebringer and the
other VOG elemental items, but the difficulty is INSANE on the revised raids. Our group couldn't get to
the end of the raid on "normal," and we used to knock out the entire VOG in a
short period of time. Couldn't geat the gatekeeper actually, which used to be not too bad.
One wrong move and suddenly it's a wipe and repeat. Did that for over an hour before people had to bail out. Annoying.

It would be cool if when Destiny 2 comes out and D1 is pretty much done if they dump all of the weapons and armor into the shops or with Xur just so people can experience them all.
Just make it a free for all.
