For starters, why don't they call it 'Destination Star Trek Frankfurt' since the last one in October 2012 was 'Destination Star Trek London'...?
Anyhoo. It's official and guests now include Brent Spiner, Armin Shimerman, Rene Auberjonois, Casey Biggs, Vaughn Armstrong and William Shatner. Of course what made the event in London so special last year was that all five captains from the TV series were in attendance for all three days. And we broke the Guinness World Record, 1,063 people dressed as Star Trek characters! Ah, great days.
So, any thoughts on the German con? Anyone from the RPF going? (Pssst, there's an awesome TWOK Starfleet Uniform for sale here!!)
But this is another great chance for European fans to make a pilgrimage and pay our respects to the greatest sci-fi series ever. February 21st to February 23rd...it'll be chilly in Frankfurt then!
