Hello!
I recently finished my own Type II Dolphin Phaser. I used screen-used prop images to eyeball dimensions and proportions.
3D modelled in Blender, printed on a BambuLabs A1 and airbrushed.

I'd love to compare to an actual screen-used prop, compare dimensions and chat about what color is the best pick!
Looking great! Love a dolphin phaser

Does anyone know: Did they use the WA8311/GM7173 color for the dolphin phaser too? I'd love to get some insights about which color they used for what phaser :)

7173 was discontinued by the time of Nemesis. I recall reading that they used a generic Plasti-Color silver 1003 (which is also no longer made) from a large rattle can.

Thank you! Do you know a match for the 1003? (also I really enjoyed reading your color mixing work)

Unfortunately no. I never picked up a can of that color, and if there's any info out there about matching codes I'm unaware.

Okay, thank you anyways! My last question :p Do you know which color they used for the type I phasers in the first seasons of TNG?

I'm not sure. It might be Krylon Dove Gray misted with silver, as that's what they used on the cobra phasers and tricorders. But I'm not really familiar with the paint codes for the TNG S1 & S2 props.
