Re: Room pics.

That is up ther with the coolest items I have ever seen in one place. One hell of a display dude.

Re: Room pics.

very very sweet..... but now all ill be able to think about is the blurred out bust!

Re: Room pics.

NEVER put a vampire near a window!
It doesn't relate well with well-illuminated rooms!:D

Awesome collection!:thumbsup

And that is not a blurred bust is one of the guys in the picture of "The Ring"!:lol

Re: Room pics.

You've got an amazing collection however you choose to display it Simmon! I'm always partial to the SW genre but the rest are great as well...:thumbsup

Re: Room pics.

And I'd love to hear your experience with floor sanding as I'm entertaining that possibility myself...

Re: Room pics.

Incredible !!!

I love your Yoda...who made that one ?

Thanks
FRED

Re: Room pics.

my personal favorites is your batman bust and your fett.

I will apologise in advance as im going to blatently rip off your fett display for my room!

Re: Room pics.

Thank you guys - I appreciate all of the kind comments!

Hehe, yeah, I stole that Boba Fett idea from GotMaul (I hope you don't mind man!). If he could post a pic of his you'll see that it's an incredible display piece and a great idea. Mine is nowhere nearly as good as his ... not by a long shot.

Ramiel: LOL! That thought never even entered my mind - vampires by the window! I wanted to keep all the Universal stuff together and that was the longest wall in the room.

Allosaur: Mum's the word on that one. Your in NY though ... stop by and visit one day! :)

JME3: I don't think I'll ever sand floors again on my own. I rented a machine from Home Depot and while these were the two smallest rooms towards the back of the house there was saw dust EVERYWHERE. This was done a few weeks ago and I'm still finding dust in places around the house you would have never thought of. A very messy job to say the least.

Fredo2x: Yoda was sculpted by Howard S. Studios (as is much of the stuff found in my collection). It was finished by Thad Rhodes. I have a Ben Kenobi that I'll display with it later this year.

Thanks again guys - any suggestions?

Re: Room pics.

First off that Jason is amazing, next to that the fett and Bobby's Tall man bust came out great.
I love the multi-colored Frank...paint-up looks just like the cover.

Where did you get the Pedestals?
And got any more pics of that INDY?

Re: Room pics.

Hmmmm, that's what I was thinking about the sawdust but I'm not sure that "professionals" are very much better in that respect either...:unsure

Well, atleast you have the pride of having done it yourself with, from what I can see, great results. And of course, the bonus of that fine collection to go along with it! :):thumbsup

Re: Room pics.

Beautiful stuff Simon.......May I ask why you cose different sized pedestals? You may want to group like sized pedestals together?..... Either way looks great.
