DC New 52 - The Joker's Tie Pin

I've just finished reading the climax to the Batman: 'Death of the Family' arc. It was okay, but I felt that nothing really ground-breaking happened...

But that's not what I came here to talk about - no spoilers! I came here to talk about one thing that was on my mind...

The Joker has ditched the dirty boilersuit and hand tools and has gone back to his purple three-piece suit!

Of course, I couldn't help noticing the little details, and I found that he wears a tie pin on his...well...tie. It looks to be a skull with a two-pointed green and purple jester's hat with yellow diamonds, and a dangling silver tube on each point on the hat.

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to get a custom-made tie pin? I wouldn't even know where to start - I've googled all over the place, but no such luck...

Thanks!

I hate to do this, but after two weeks...

...bump.

Seriously, any help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have some reference pics you can upload? The things some people can do on the rpf is amazing - maybe someone will see it and wanna make one in the future!

Other than that my best suggestion is to try etsy - there's lots of people there that make custom jewellery and tie clips and similar things! :D

Thanks for the advice :D

I've found a few reference images across the interwebs:

In the above pic, (third panel to the end), when the Joker's on the floor, it looks like there are two hanging silver bits on the end of each point of the jester's hat which dangle.

Hmm. . . . just another thought upon seeing it - you could try broochmakers as well.?It looks similar to a lot of crystal brooches that pop up on ebay.

Also IMO I think it'd look suitably garish and joker-esque if the green & purple were enamelled? Good luck with the project!
