Dark Knight Rises Trailer Leaked!!!

I know there's a drop of Superman's existence in the script.
Metropolis was also mentioned in one of the Schumacher films. I think they've always been part of the same universe. It'll be interesting to see how Nolan handles it (beyond that line), if at all.

Should also be interesting to see how he handles (if the rumors are true) Ra's' return. I only know a little about the character, but based on what I do know, it always seemed to me that he was preparing himself right before he "died" in BB, perhaps something to be ready for the Pit. And the way he spoke the lines about the things that the League had done in the past, as if he actually witnessed them instead of simply knowing about them.

Still.....we've got the director saying, what now? "super heroes don't exist in my Batman universe,it's realistic" or something? annnnnd a guy who you can tear up and then toss into a green glowing goo pit to heal him is real?

Dunno I have to disagree,if it was anybody else then Al Ghoul I could buy it,but with him around then seeing a guy in red and blue tights flying around wouldn't shock me.

As another poster said in a wholly different thread DC is making a whole butt load of WTF with how they're doing the comic to movie thing :confused

Good points. Let's not forget what happend in the last Spiderman film. Alittle too much influence and directives from the studio prevented Raimi from puting out the film he wanted.

Maybe the studio is trying to finally bring something together for a JLA movie or even better Batman Vs. Supes film. Hopefully that's all that has happened, and Nolan will put out a great film.

Was this real or fake?Either way I wasen't feelin this one at all.Guess we'll have to wait for the trailer to actually come out.

Well, to answer a few questions, Batmans ears are intact and hes in the TDK outfit in the clip

Bane

its up at The Dark Knight Rises

Who is in the background? Cop? Goon?

About Bane's mask, could he be "breathing" in a certain type of spray derived from a certain blue flower instead of venom? That could instill his real life berzerk mode...Not making him invincible, but rather making him feel like he is...

I don't think any characters will come back to life. It's so cheesy and Nolan's movies really haven't been all that cheesy. I think there may be a flashback or two, but I don't believe we'll see the Pit in this one, or any dead characters back to life.

I think Bane will end up being bad arse!

Caught the trailer at Harry Potter last night, and the cool Spanish chanting at the end had me creeped out. Love the few second I saw. Any one also catch that Neeson was doing the voiceover?

Wow, that makes it about 50 times creeper then . . . .the chanting I mean...

Either way I'm super pshyched for this film!

The chanting is actually not even english, it's a spanish-like dialect and means "he rises" when translated.

idunno....I just watched the trailer and gotta say that I'm still not liking Bane as what's probably the films main villian. I hope this final film wraps up what's been a great series.

This "morsel" of footage has me kinda bummed. Maybe when more becomes available I'll get more amped up, but right now all I envision is another X-3-Juggernaught-costumed-guy, which I thought was really lame.

Again - this is the last Nolan Batman. Yes there will be more Batman movies in the future, but this is the conclusion of this story.

Have to ask, a few people responded this way....so are they going to continue this style of batman movies or since nolan is out is it presumed that it is going to go in another direction.....seems theres a lot more shorelines and characters to go after.

I am sure this is hard to answer because "who knows" i am just curious.

I'd say thats up to whatever director is next in line. Nolan doesnt want to do it to death so that he only quits when the movies stop being good. There are a lot of big characters unvisited, but they could never be done convincingly in this style, and its a nice change from what we've seen and will surely see again in the future.

Everything I've read says that Nolan and Bale were only doing these three films. If there are to be any more Batman movies... I'm guessing it's going to have to be another Hollywood re-boot.

This is the definitive conclusion of Nolan's involvement in the series as mentioned in the trades by himself and much of the cast, Warner Brothers will either move toward a re-imaging of the franchise in a few years or take the property to television à la Smallville.

The future is very much up in the air at the moment.

Even without Nolan or Bale, WB is free to make as many "sequels" as they want (ala Batman Forever and Batman and Robin). I hope thats not the case, but Hollywood is known for milking things...
