Dagger 9mm

I'm thinking about converting an air soft pistol into Mercutio's DAGGER 9mm from Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet.

here's a link to a screen shot, I think it's a beautiful design.

The shape of air soft pistol I have is very close but wont be a 100% accurate. Any ideas on how to get "DAGGER 9mm" etched or engraved into the upper receiver?

Attached is a (low quality) photo of my air soft gun.

That's going to require quite a bit of modification, and that really is a terrible base to use, it looks like one of those "soft air" guns you see at Walmart.

The gun in question which was modified for the film is actaully a Tarus PT99, a Brazilian-made handgun based on the origional Beretta 92. You can tell by the raised, adjustable rear sight. The serrations on the slide also mean its an older model tarus, the new models had wider serrations.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll search for a better base. Thinking about having one machined also (non working model with a soft metal)

Found an all metal gas airsoft replica of the Tarus PT99. It goes for about $250 and I think customes might be a problem. Still searching for a U.S. brand.

That's the wrong model anyway, the correct version is the one with the raised sights. I'm not sure if an airsoft version even exists.
