FINALLY!

I'm incredibly ecstatic right now!!!!! I did some vacuum forming today, and the results were....well, meh.....but it shows major potential!!!!!!!!!!!!! My friend stole my Camera so webcam pics for all! I just wanted to show you guys as soon as I could.

I'll have to do it again, but it works!

More to come, this is getting close to being finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crank, what thickness of plastic did you use to form the visor?\

EDIT: Looked through old pm's from you, and you had said you used 1/16 inch plastic PET or PETG sheets.. Derp.

looks great , im following this as im planning on doing a Tron Guy helmet as well, only thing i would say is im sure its silver not gold in Tron, i could be wrong but every picture ive seen it looks silver, just a heads up before you get it painted

ohhhhhhhh then go for gold lol apart from makeing sure everything is smooth is there other things you need to take in to acount when getting things chromed?

There was no problem, I just didn't plan properly. I need to make my visor cut out into a Vacuum forming buck before I pull any more visors, so I'm hoping to do that soon.

Hey! I'm back!!!! It's been a while, and I'm sorry about that. I fell out of the Daft Game for a while, kind of ran out of steam. But now that their 4th album is approaching I felt the need to finish up some loose ends. Here' how the helmet is looking right now.

The proportions are a little more stout than I could've cared for, but overall i'm happy with the way it's turning out. Now I just have to build some ear pucks and this thing is finished!
