D-ring, Tri rings etc.

Holy Crap. I just got back from the McMaster link. Earlier, I saw a thread in the JY selling 28 cent d-rings for 9 dollars. Wow, Thanks Franz, this fool won't be so easily parted from his money. :D

Yeah. Any other good links?

frost, thanks for that link. These things always pop up then go away..

Some stores make you but in bulk, but you can find a lot of this stuff at Ace Hardware.

no problem, i browsed over it a few days ago and it stuck in my mind =p

and i was thinking of getting the cool wire-bender thing that'll allow you to make tri-rings, d-rings, and the works.

Bumping this one to see if anyone has another good source for tri-rings.
I need a BRASS tri ring around 1" (no less than 3/4").

I checked all the links posted in this thread and the other thread that Frost pointed out.
Any ideas?

I've been to all the local craft, fabric and hardware stores.
I found a brass D that's a little tall - I could use it, but I was really looking for a tri ring.

Chris,

Check out page 115 of the catalog on this site for the 1" tri-ring in brass plate. They are welded, so you'll need to break the weld, but that shouldn't be difficult:

This place is a great resource for hard to find hardware items and tools. Good people to deal with too. I believe they have a minimum order, but I'm not sure as I've ordered in larger quantities for my leatherworking stuff.

So is someone going to order some to see if the Tri-rings from the OHIO TRAVEL BAG site is accurate?

I'm sure there'll be enough people for a group buy once its determined its the correct size/finish.

Just gonna bump this and see if anyone can answer my question: what's the correct size of the forward/emitter d-ring for the Vader ROTJ?
