So I was trying to decide what version of ol Cykes visor to do as my side project and landed on the 90s visor by popular vote. But... I personally dont care for the 90s Visor very much. yes its undeniably Cyclips but the bulbous front piece, rectangular lens and just plain goofy aesthetic didnt work for me. But what I DO like are the Marvel movies, Most modern X men comics and the FOX Xmen franchise(even X3 and Apocalypse) so I did a little tweaking to the 90s design and ended up with a mashup of...well you read the title. So I began my search before landing on an Instructable for a visor involving an omelette pan and taplights. So ill be shaping the omelette pan, making my own two Modern earmuffs, giving it a coat of champagne Gold and installing a sleek black comfort pad all along the visor. I havnt decided if Im going to use testors clear red laquer or red mirror window tint for the Ruby Quartz yet. I want something that is still chock full of 90s charm but with a tactical, low profile look integrated in. Since this is an original design no reference pics needed, imma wing it. Its going to be a fluid and ever changing build(till its done and im happy with it anyway) So buckle up its gonna be a bumpy ride!
