CW Arrow Bow Build from scratch

hey guys,
for the last 2 days i've been working on the riser from the recurve bow that was used in the CW serie Arrow.
I first started with drawing a template of the bow, then i cut it out on 3cm thick wood that i had laying around.
Then i just simple took a wood rasp en let my imagination do the rest.

For the riser on the recurve that shape looks good (and more importantly looks very similar to the one on Arrow), but I did notice that you're using normal, straight laminate wood which won't take the stress of an actual recurve.

Being a costume/prop piece, that's a good idea so you don't have any real tension on the string and can't actually shoot anything in a convention hall

Also what were you going to use for the limbs? Just curious now.

PS: I don't know how many people have noticed this yet, but the bow in the actual Arrow show is WAY to small for a guy that big to be shooting, it's a kids recurve or a really small training bow :S

Thanks for the kind words and yes it's just a prop for the limbs i'm using PVC or Sintra don't no yet.
And yeah i know about the size the measurments on this prop is identical as in the show
With the limbs on it it's going to be 48" just like he uses
