Custom Wooden Dowels?

Can someone point me in the direction of where I can get a custom wooden dowel? I am either looking for a a 15 inch 1 1/2 Dia. piece that is either oak or walnut. The problem I am facing is that the internet wants bulk orders. Is there any wood workers out there that can direct me in the right direction?

Why don't you go to a michaels art supply or Pearls and do it yourself?
They have all size dowels there and you can just stain it. I just picked up a
1" diameter there and they had all different diameters besides that.

I am going to make a Daredevil style club, but I am not going to paint it or put the trinkets on it. I figure if I am going to make a club, it might as well be functional

Rockler has Oak and Walnut, as well as some large diameter ones as well!

I was going to post a link to Rockler. I checked before I did and the Oak only went up to 1 1/4". The Walnut was only 1". They might have bigger sizes other than what's listed though.

Dowel rods are actually meant to pin two pieces together, thus the generally smaller diameter of the rods. I think at 4 to 6 inches you're looking for a post, not a dowel. Or as SciFi said, a tree.

I was just using the dowel term to reference that I was looking for round stock. I have found some 5inch turning squares that will work, but I was hoping to get some that were already round.
