There's a Halloween contest near where I live called Haunt Your Home in which people decorate their homes for all of October to try and win up do $5000. We won the first and third years (entered in the second year but at the time the rules essentially said you couldn't win twice in a row). So this year we had 'retired' and missing the annual Halloween building I approached the organizers to see if they'd like a trophy for the competition. It's sort of a Stanley Cup style trophy where every year the names of the winners will be added and will be displayed proudly at the office of the guy that runs it.
Here are some pics of the progress as well as finished product. Everyone loved it and the organizers were blown away as they told me to run with it (while sticking within the estimated material budget). The lights were my secret till the end when they saw it and I turned them on!
