Curing sculpey without heat?

For small stuff i normally coat it with superglue and that seals it and the heat from the chemical reaction of curing also cures the sculpty but given I'm doing a massive project i can't see it doing it this way unless i can find super glue by the gallon. Anyone have suggestions? I normally also boil it when it is an item that would melt in an oven but I think material inside the sculpture wouldn't survive boiling so i'm looking for ideas. If i had a heat gun i'd try that as i could move it fast enough to cure areas and not kill the material inside.

I've used a heatgun before and that worked fine. As you say, just keep moving it to prevent intense heat buildup and consequently large cracking.

In the past, I've also made a rudimentry oven out of plywood with a fan heater as a heat source. Just remember to drill some large holes in the back at the top to prevent too much heat buildup and keep checking it to make sure it doesn't get too hot.

Hope this is of some help.

me too i using a heat gun in low mode , and it's work great, just look the color changing to dark when you heat the sculpey ,

this is what i used for my wound for my zombieland clown costume

o, gotcha, didn't read it that way.
if your going to be running latex pieces make your mold in ultra-cal or even hydracal. Much better for running rubber.
