Done / Completed Cronenburg's EXistenZ Gristle Gun

I was recently contacted for a commission. The customer wants the Gristle Gun from the movie EXistenZ.

I think it's pretty gnarly and a cool little project... however...

Is there any interest in this prop? Would people want a kit of this? I want to know if it's worth the effort to make this and offer some kits to recoup some costs.

if you want to do this kit you need the original kit parts first. if you do it from scratch it's not authentic...

It wouldn't be hard since a lot of the identification has been done, just time consuming to get it right. However, this project isn't happening anytime in the near future. The customer doesn't have the budget for it, there seems to be zero interest in it, and it's not a prop I've wanted. Maybe one day if the interest is there.
