hey guys - I cross posted on BOTB, but thought I would ask this hear on a wider forum.

I am trying to find pro/cons on the various materials that people use for cowls. I have broadly divided it into latex, polurethane rubber and silicone.
(any more type materials pls lmk!)

this is in relation to any type cowl, not just a Batman. Wanting to know abt the experience of wearing the cowl rather tham the "making of", pro/cons in terms of durability, comfort, whats good, whats not.

If cared for properly they all will last quite some time but from my understanding it's in this order (longest lasting first)
silicone
urethane
latex

Silicone is the heaviest and prone to tearing due to it's extreme flexibility compared to the others.

Urethane and latex are both lighter than silicone and less resistant to tears, but latex has less "give" than urethane.
