So its been a bit of hiatus since I last posted pics of anything I worked on due to the fact that my camera had a meltdown right before the summer. I finally got a new one after much procrastination, so I will need to get dolled up and show off some pics of other things I've been working on soon. For now, call this a preview. I broke down and tackled the Jack Sparrow. Or as I call it, my Sithcamaro costume. I'll post more pics when I actually take some decent ones.

And more pics. Went out last night and played. Made sure to have an impromptu photo shoot.

This is about a two month project. Made a bunch of stuff, bought a curtain, bought some buckles. I actually really enjoyed this costume and am now thinking about doing some upgrades for future fun. I left off a few of the knick-knacks as this was originally just for Halloween. Altered the compass and gun from the toy versions, sword is the cheap but nice plastic one. The rest (barring buckles and rings) is made by yours truly right down to the gold teeth (one of which I need to fix because it catches on my upper lip).
Need a new flower buckle. My choices were: the too big toy one, painted ala Patattack, or the too small costumebase version. Went with the too big one. Obviously.
