Yeah...well....I kept missing the openings for registering.

Sooooo....what did you need me for the other night? Coulda called or texted me!

agh - I was just struggling to attach some sleeves to Kim's Snowtrooper coat. It was not made for her, and I was making it smaller, but was losing my mind about the time the sleeves had to go back on. I hate sewing sleeves on... I finally got it. It would have been late late your time!

The White errrrmmm.....rhymes with witch...hehe.... from Epic Movie

Stifler's mom !!!

Great to see you here :) Love the stuff you do :D Hope to see you post heaps over here now that you got through the rego process ;)

Cris - yeah....sleeves can be uber tricky sometimes. Sometimes it helps to baste stitch them first so they are easier to ease in.

Hiya Kimmy! Yeah.....the White.....yeah...that one..hahaha seems to always be the most popular, until I made the Dorothy costume and had that picture taken. I think the bunny cloak has to be my most favorite costume piece I've ever made. The bunnies were puppets. I cut them open and laid them flat. The bottom ones on each side are actually pockets....hehehe. The paws on bunnies on each side are what attach the cloak to the dress. It was HARD finding all of those puppets at the dollar store. My good friend liannb was picking them up everytime she found them. The rest of the cloak I made from opening up pillow covers and sewing them together. It was just fun to make!

mdb.....so glad you're here too! Now I have another place to play the "what fabric IS that" game with you.....hahahaha

Welcome Fangs,

wow, your costumes really rock!! That Zam, especially, is amazing!!!! A great costume collection for sure.....great to have you on here.

So a process not unlike using the real deal... ;)

I love fabric spotting :) I'm usually pretty good, but that is the "bad" influence of my SCAdian peers who have books on fabric weaves. It gets under your skin ;) And annoyance at being told the roll of slubby polyester is "linen" and that you can't iron silk and you can't dye nylon....

OHNOES!

Scott

That's right Scott.....I'm hhheeeeerrrrreeeeeee.......:love

Awesome, I'm loving that selena from underworld costume.

Thanks!! klmscott12 did some pretty fabulous holsters for me for that costume. They are "floating" holsters in that they don't have any straps. They snap right to the leg fabric. We're just waiting for the pictures from that photoshoot which also had the Lycans in it, but you can kind of see the no straps on my legs in this picture.
