As for to the OP. it may be easier to do an American Contractor vs. Soldier. Similar setup.
If you are doing something direct, like you said Chris Kyle, you could do it, but I might recommend a custom patch (in plain text) "In Honor Of CPO Chris Kyle". One thing that pisses me off when seeing guys wearing USA Flags and such is that they don't follow the regulations covering the display of the flag.

That's exactly what I was thinking. They must get medals for going to the bathroom, tying their shoes, etc.
