Thanks! I'm glad everyone enjoys them and it means a lot. The shot with the TC-14 head did turn out really cool. These kids were amazing in these costumes. I think us adults had more fun than they did.
I'm not kidding!! I've seen many jawas and made a couple costumes over the years but once the hoods went on these kids I started getting goosebumps!!!!! no joke. They looked like they crawled out of the movie screen ... although not the scary way like we're used to now with movies like "The Ring" ...but the cute, funny, goosebumpy way hehe..
The kids couldn't move at all at the convention. They were surrounded by people the entire time. If we needed to get somewhere I told them to take their hoods off and we would practically run to the next location It was the most fun I've had at a Con in a while. Although it was a lot of work wrangling the kids, making sure they weren't too hot, taking them outside for air, getting them water, fixing their hoods, etc. etc. I pretty much missed the whole con but I had a lot of fun!
Cal did a top notch job with these costumes! My son loves his and always talks about it. He cant wait for Halloween to roll by. I love the way Cal and Kathy constructed the robes and hoods. :thumbsup
Thanks for the "props" Cal, but all I did was add some electronics. The costume is a dead ringer even w/o my stuff. Although at the con I did laugh everytime a jawa moved around and a bunch of jawa speak started up.
I agree, I missed most of the con but it was still a fun time. 1st place doesnt hurt either!
For those who ordered kits.. I promise we are working on them as hard as we can. We have a bunch of things to do and those are part of the queue!!! Soon!!
