Completely new to everything and wondering if possible

Hello, i am completely new to the whole costume making thing, and i wanted to try my hand at it. Was wondering if there it would be possible to make a relatively decent Iron Man costume before Halloween this year. Wouldn't have to be anything really good, just would like some kind of armor for my costume. Looking online at costumes it pretty much was just a helmet and a jumpsuit so i decided to see if i could actually make some armor. If it is possible, what do you think would be best way to go about it. I was looking at pepakura and EVA foam. but not sure if there is an easier way that isn't time consuming.

A month out is gonna be a huuuuuge stretch my friend. Not saying it isn't possible, but it's pretty darn tough. Most guys that fabricate the suits need quite a bit of time (there isn't exactly a stockpile of these things floating around). You may be able to swing a decent looking one if you make it with foam material though. Use the search tool and type in "foam + Iron man". That'll get you started.

yeah, im not looking to make anything spectacular, just something that will do for the short time i have. i would like to re-do the suit after and actually do a good one. i'll do a search and check things out.

You have time. IF you haul ass. Check out robo and stealths iron man mark 4/6 foam pep thread. They have all the templates there. It can be done but it takes alot of dedication and effort. Now stop reading this and get building!!!!
