I did a search but couldn't find anything. Forgive me if there is already another thread. Anyhoo...

I rarely watch it as broadcast, but instead catch it on demand. Especially episodes with Milana Vayntrub (because, well... you know). In any event, it's usually entertaining. Occasionally TOO entertaining. Is it just me, or does this thing that's supposed to be some kind of game show actually seem more like scripted comedy?

They say up front it's a Faux game show, but it's Improv on the proposed situations, not scripted some of the players are incredibly fast on their feet mentally. I Dropped out a few months ago because it was Political every night with 1 POV being beaten to death.

Yeah. We stopped watching too after it became political. We loved it before that crap started.

Right. I used to love the show and despite Hardwick's announcement at the beginning of the campaign season, it predictably ended up bashing one party. I still turn it on occasionally when Ron Funches is on. He is hilarious.

Its not scripted, just heavily edited to cut out slow portions, jokes that don't landing and to fit the time slot as they can go off the rails from time to time. If you watch carefully you will see point totals go up without any activity from a contestant.

Its about the only thing I watch on CC anymore cause even now it can still occasionally make me laugh so hard I almost black out.

I saw the episodes with that woman. I don't know how many times she has been on but both times I saw her on the show, Chris Hardwick gave her the 'win.' He seemed to have a bias for her.

It's kind of hit or miss with the guests but Chris is always got something good to say. Gavin and Burnie from Roosterteeth have been on there a few times too with other internet personalities and they fit in pretty good. It's the only thing worth watching on comedy central.
