If you already own the body kit and/or the electronics, but you just need someone to complete the tricorder for you, I can assist you. Plus I will deduct the parts you own from the total cost. For example, if you own the electronics already, just send them to me and I will deduct $130 from the total price of the build. If you own the Stapleton body kit, send it to me and I will deduct $140 from the total.

Hi Eric. Yes, you can use my electronics in the vac-formed Roddenberry shells. I have built a couple of the Roddenberry versions and they worked out fine. The alignment of the electronics is perfect on both versions.

Actually, what I have are vintage production-made shells direct from HMS. Also, what I have are a set of Medical Mk VII shells, not Science.

I take it you don't have an electronics package to do up the LEDs in the upper compartment that holds the aluminum hand scanner, right?

Oh, and I don't have any of the necessary hardware (ie. hinges), so those still have to be sourced from somewhere.

Looks like I will probably be closing this up soon. But if anyone wants to slip in and get one of these beautiful tricorder prop replicas, let me know. I am also looking to build 2 Mark X Medical tricorder prop replicas, complete with extra sounds (like the flatline sound) and working scanner. Stapleton is doing a very limited run of the body kits over the next few weeks and I am hoping I can build one for someone. PM me if you are interested.
