Well, my 7 year old son finally got bit by the Star Wars bug. He would like to be Commander Fox for Halloween and I figured if I got started now, I might finish in time.:lol
Just for reference, the Target exclusive action figure.
And the beginning of the process, everything being milled out of 5" thick 4lb density foam.
And some of the pieces:
Right now I have everything sanded smooth and a nice coat of styrospray applied. Once that has hardened properly, I will do final sanding and prepare for vacuum-forming.
I also picked up one of the new voice changer helmets from Target. I was trying to save some effort, but it's so large compared to the armor, he would look like a bobble head. So I will probably end up making the helmet too.
Comments welcomed! Thanks.
