Cheap TASM2 build using zentai

This is my first ever build, so there are some things that I could have done better, but oh well. This build is based on a TASM2 zentai suit that I purchased from zentaizone.com. As far as I know, the patterns wasn't stolen from anyone. If it actually was, I sincerely apologize. I know the patterns on zentai-zentai are usually stolen, so I avoided that site altogether.

Really this suit is a temporary thing to hold me over until I can put together the money for a really nice build using an Orhadar print.

This is the suit I purchased from zentaizone. They allow you to send in measurements to tailor the suit. I actually added more measurements in the order comments just in case they could use them. I'm not certain if they did use them, but the suit fits well nonetheless. I did not select the detachable hood option because I wanted a more seamless look, but I am regretting it a bit because the suit is awkward to enter and exit, which will make eating a drinking difficult at upcoming Halloween parties.

I also purchased the extra lenses to add little more accuracy to the suit. I may have been able to request that they be attached by zentaizone, but I decided that I would rather do it myself and make sure its done right.

The suit arrived in a timely manner and actually fits really well. Once I had my fill of strutting around in my new suit, I set to work on attaching soles. I didn't have a lot of time before Halloween, so I decided to just go look at stores for suitable shoes instead of waiting on more things to be shipped. I found some shoes at Target that seemed like they would work fairly well. They are a brand called "Mad Love" or something like that. They are pretty much knock-off "Toms" for women, but whatever, they work well for my purpose. I bought two pairs because I am also making a suit for my wife.

It didn't actually take me terribly long to separate the uppers from the soles. I used a box cutting knife to cut them off little by little. If I did it right, I could actually just pull them apart.

Once they were separated, I inserted the uppers into the feet of the suit and applied E6000 to the feet and the soles.

As I let the glue get tacky for roughly two minutes, I covered my feet in plastic bags so that I could insert my feet in to the shoes and stand on the soles without fear of gluing my skin. I used Lunaman's method and stood for a couple hours while the glue set. Once I was tired of standing and watching Netflix, I took my feet out of the costume and wrapped rubber bands around the foot area to let it sit overnight. I actually applied more glue around the edges as well, just to make sure there would be no separation.
This is the result. A little messy looking, but I can clean it up later.

The next challenge is to find a suitable face shell and attach the lenses.
More to come!
