Hey everyone, I ordered a Orhader print and it should be in by next week. Sadly I won't have any pictures of the print and before the suit is put together I'll be on vacation starting Thursday for 2-3 weeks and my buddy or dad is going to pick it up for me and take it to be put together.
By the time I get back my suit should be all put together and my TJACK frames/lenses should be in also. Sadly I won't have the money to get a legit face shell. I've seen a couple who've used the mask you could buy at walmart/toys r us etc.. And have fairly decent luck with it.
If anyone wants to take a look at it here's the link http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NTAwWDUwMA==/z/8zoAAOxydlFSqN1w/$_12.JPG
If it goes well I'll win the bid on it for $4 no one else bid for the past 2 days. So if it doesn't look great or work great only lost $5 or so, not a big deal.
Its just temporary until I can buy a actual face shell.

I'm gonna try the mask on with and without that to see how they both look.
For the frames I bought head model so I can have something filling the head and replicate the face.

For the webs on the suit I think I'm going to go with liquid latex I don't really like the out come of puff paint, its alright but the latex looks much more accurate and overall better to me.

Or using another method a user on this forum using a mixture acrylic black textile paint and tulip sterling silver since the outcome came out awesome.

As for the coloring of the suit depending how it comes out I may go the route bboystunna went and go over the red with a fabric marker so I can try to duplicate the red of the movie suit. Should of got the deeper red but oh well.

For the shoes I'm thinking of either doing what Luna did or like another user and spraying a few coats of erm can't remember the name off the top of my head so forgive me for that.

Now how I'm going to get in and out of the suit is hoping for a ushape zipper from armpit to armpit and a zipper on the back of the mask/neck to take it off and on. I wanted it to be detachable but I wasn't sure how it would look and if I would like it, since it wouldn't be attach and may take away from the look of the suit. Yes I'm that picky.

I believe that's every detail and aspect of it, any questions anyone? suggestions so on and so forth? If I left any details out or something I said isn't clear let me know!

I'll be using the suit for various things, the premier of the movie, entertainment as in videos and going out in it etc.. Comic con and if possible for charity events for children. Lets hope no one notices how short I am 5'6 Spider-Man. :p

For my future suits I plan on getting different comic variations such as superior spider-man, ultimate spider-man, classic spider-man, scarlet spider-man, black alien suit, raimi suit red/blue and symbiote.

Haha sounds like a plan, we'll see what my girlfriend thinks when We're on vacation checking out the forums and your thread. xD
Can't wait to take a look at your prints tomorrow, it'll me a good idea of how it's going to look!

Suit is in! Dad just gave me the text letting me know my suit and toy face mask is in! Now its gotta get put together, so unforuntatley I won't be able to see the suit itself by next sunday and it should be all put together by then.
Good news is going to be getting a faceshell by a awesome member on this board, won't say any names yet since I don't know if he wants anyone to know about it yet!

Little update, tjack frames/lenses was shipped out last night!
So excited to get back from vacation next week to check it all out.

Back from vacation suit looks amazing but one downside.
should of listened to my girlfriend when she told me to wait another day to add my frames and lenses. Today has not been my day, I got into a car accident, turned a curv in a tunnel, didn't realize there was snow so by the time I can react my car was spinning out and the front bumper and lights are all banged up. And then got a ticket later on that day. And now one frame is a bit off compared to the other one(super glued onto the suit) any possible way to remove them without messing up the suit and frame?
Its not that bad but slightly noticeable if you stare at it hard.
On top of that my laptop charger isn't working so I'm trying to get picture on to show you all!

I'm so sorry if this accident really happened to you. I hope you're not hurt badly and I wish for your quick recovery.

For the super glued frames, there are a few ways to remove them. Here's a quick list: How To Remove Super Glue - Removing Cyanoacrylate Adhesive

I think acetone - the stuff to remove nail polish - dissolves super glue. BUT, I'm not sure if this will damage the fabric. So read up before you use any of it on your suit! I've only tested this when I got super glue on my hands, and it worked. I haven't tested this on any other materials. Good luck!

Yeah it did unfortunately, I needed that like a I needed a whole in my head. Once I get a computer access I'll upload pictures of my suit and damage to my car.

i was thinking about nail polish remover myself but afraid of it damaging the suit. The eyes aren't really noticed if I adjust the mask well enough. But thanks man for helping!

First picture of my car, looks worse when you stand further away.

Now first batch of pictures, spidey selfies. :p
You can tell the right frame is off. :p

These are without really adjusting the mask on me you can really tell the right frame is off.

And now some taken on my nexus 7 and some my cousin took of me.

Ignore my hair sticking out didn't zipper properly. xD

These are all taken without a faceshell also.
I feel I butchered the suit because of the messed up frame position but live and learn, still love and obsessed with my suit. :)
I kind of moved it out of position when I was glueing the right one.

Thanks guys :)
im a bit of a perfectionist so even slightly off bothers me. But my girlfriend doesn't notice them, and most people won't since they'll be amazed at the suit. And if I play with the mask good enough you can't really tell. Gotta take this suit out for a test drive :p
More pictures will be uploaded tonight.

Instead of linking a bunch of attachments and having to get to a computer to upload, I put my new pictures in photobucket. All selfies because no one here to take a pictures of me and only iphone quality pictures. =/
for now anyway.
