Captain Hammer costume - revisited

Good gloves! I went with grey pants. I feel like the olive just doesn't fit with the look.

Seems like grey BDUs would be the best.
 
Do you guys have a link on the grey pants or the correct belt? I believe the belt is green right? Looks like he wears regular combat boots as well?

I have a gren pair of those pants. They are rather comfortable, but the regular pockets are not very deep.

They look close but not perfect. If you want close, they look good though.

Sucks, I really want a Capt Hammer t-shirt. But by the time you add 10 dollars worth of shipping on the 27 dollar shirt over at Dr Horrible.com, you're looking at a freaking $40.00 damn T-SHIRT. That's just ridiculous.
 
I went grey BDU's, black Dickies web belt (already had), my SG-1 Magnum Response boots, and X-Wing pilot gaunlets for my version of Capt. Hammer. And of course, Kurt's phenomenal shirt! It may not be the most accurate ensemble, but it's probably the cheapest I've put together so far. Can't wait to see how your version turns out.

I have used that site to get boots while i was deployed, real nice customer service. If you call them up, ask if they have a military discount. They are kinda hit or miss, sometimes they are generous and offer a percentage discount, sometimes not.

Not bad at that price with the free shipping. I'd love to CONFIRM that these are the boots, it would make the decision MUCH easier :wacko

I can't do screen caps, but aren't the boots shown fairly well when he first shows up and lands on the runaway van? Just going from memory here.
