Disney had Michael Jackson's Captain EO costume on display at the D23 Expo - did anyone happen to go and get some good pics of it? I've always loved this outfit/spacesuit.

If anyone else has more photos they'd like to share - bigger hopefully, I'd love to see them. I've always suspected the shoes were some kind of altered Reeboks. The ship would also be great to replicate - but it looks pretty intense.

We have 'em slightly bigger online, if you erase the -650x433 part from the image URL.
I'll ask our photographer for the original sizes.

I was able to see them in person at D23, but sadly, they were really strict about photographs... I would love to see some larger pics as well! I was able to buy the Archive book they were selling, that has some good pics of the spaceship in it, but not the costume.

WOW! Thanks so much Kris. That jacket looks almost unreplicatable - It's really cool to see all those jello blacks and candy like decorations that I believe light up - unless that was animated in later.
The shoes are reebok - I'm almost 100% sure. You can see see where the laces were removed and the velcro straps weaved through.

I loved it when I saw the Movie at Epcot many years ago. I also remember seeing a TV special on the making of the movie. Micheal did do some of his own stunts. I remember seeing a place in the making where he actually got hit by a whip that was swung too close to him.
