Can someone help with references for Innerspace's Pod?

I want to build replicas of the Pods from the movie Innerspace. The hero pod is top priority, but it would be nice to get info on the bad guy's 'fish' pod. Does anyone have any pics other than movie stills I can look at? Failing that, does anyone know where the props reside and if the owner(s) would be willing to take pics?

It's not that I can't get the info I need from stills from the movie(I have over 200), but I'd really like 'clean' pics to compare them to, to make sure I have the right idea. One area I really need pics of is the bottom of the Hero pod. It's really, really difficult to see in the movie, because none of the shots feature it(no surprise there).

You can occasionally pick up the corresponding CINEFEX magazine on Ebay. There were some really great shots of all the pods in that issue.

I think that one of the pods was on show at the "Filmmuseum" in Berlin/Germany in the sfx exhibit. I don´t know if it was on loan or if it was part of the museum exhibit. Unfortunately the exhibit was closed last year, togehter with the Ray Harryhausen exhibit. Another missed photo opportunity :\

Cinefex - I forgot about that valuable source of info! I never have subscribed to it, which is probably why I didn't think about it.

I'll look for the issues released on and soon after the release of Innerspace.

In regard to the Filmuseum, I'll have to as some of my German friends to help me there. I think one or two of them actually live in Berlin, too.

You'll need issue 32, which is out of print, so probably eBay. Also, which pod are you looking for? And which scale?

Like I said, mainly the Hero pod (the round one with the four thrusters on it) in all scales. It's a neat design.

Cinefex has a copy of the article I can buy, so I could just go with that instead of having to resort to eBay's exorbitant prices(the stores which carry it there list it as $24, while Cinefex will sell it for $6.50).

If you're interested in reference photos of Igo's Pod I can probably get some photos sent over to you on Monday. These would be of the Go-Motion miniature used during production.

I wonder what about Tuck's pod? Ingo's pod looks nice and accurate yes but I would like to see some of Tuck's pod.
