Can anyone recommend a good hand riviter?

Any rivet gun at a home center will do. Something around $20 will do you fine. Make sure it has the different tips included. I can't speak for Harbor Freight's or one from an auto parts store. You don't need to spend a ton of money unless you're doing larger rivets then you would need a big daddy riveter. It's a two handed model.
