Can anyone recommend a decent digital camera for prop shooting?

My old Canon Powershot died recently, and I'm looking for a new camera. This will primarily be for shooting props, nothing arty, just good quality images, with a decent flash for indoor shooting without special lighting and preferably rechargeable/decent battery consumption.

I'm pretty much a point and shoot, get it done guy, don't like messing about with hundreds of menus, and don't have a tripod right now, so something with decent auto and shake features is important.

Looking to spend $150-200, maybe a little more.

Anyone got any good recommendations?

I think this is a good camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ38

It scores very high and i own the previous version my self and EXTREMELY happy with it. It is VERY easy to use and get you EXCELLENT PHOTOS and with its GREAT ZOOM you can take fantastic photos of family without them knowing there is a camera to pose to. It makes the photos so much more alive and real to look at. For details shots its also fantastic. I use the Auto program allot and that is amazing how good it adjust to sudden changes.

Its a bit more than you plan to spend, but well worth it for GREAT photos and getting history in digital form or on photo paper.
