Hi all.

Thanks to an idea that come out from the R2 thread Im working now in a scratchbuild of a model that I never done before "Threepio". It will be a 1/9 scale, just the same than the R2 I made before. Actually they will be great items to display together.

To build a human figure is not at all like build a space ship. Its much more complicated.
Not happy with the exterior body, I had the crazy idea to put together two models in one: The naked C3PO and the clasic golden droid. Will see if this is possible.
Personally I think the EP I naked Threepio is a very nice piece.

I think I have a chance to build this. I built a few years ago real medieval body armors, so I have a good idea how the body exterior plates should be builded and assembled.

Having comissioned one of these babies and payed some money I'm keen to get some sort of update.

Yes I did get a reply and he said that he was sending them out Tuesday gone but I haven't heard anything since..... He said that he would give me the tracking number and confirmation that they were sent. I have emailed him again but yet to receive an answer. I guess real life must be keeping him busy? It wouldn't hurt just to drop us a quick note to answer our questions. Do you need any contact details or do you have them?

did you ever receive your C3P0?I have fully paid up and got a reply that he had received the payment and that he was shipping out my models then nothing?
Antonio has not replied to my last few emails? This isn't like him? the last transaction I had with him was very smooth, no problems at all then this?
My last response from him was on the 28th July to say that he was shipping in a few days???

Well it looks like I've been done! I've payed $300 and received nothing for my money except a few photos of my goods that were never shipped!
Very disappointing. :angry
As I've stated the first commission went very smoothly but I unfortunately have Not had the same experience this time round. What's more frustrating is that my brother liked my R2 so much he gave me the money to get one made for him. A bit embarrassing as it never turned up!
I've tried emailing Antonio several times but to no avail.
I'm not sure what else to do other than ask if anyone here knows Antonio and could try and contact him for me?

Hi Mark,
I am really sad to hear Porteador bailed. I'd bet he's a perfectionist, and wasn't happy with how C-3Po was turning out. I know how hard you have tried to make it work with him, and I would say you are more graceful than anyone I know. $300 is nothing to sneeze at.

Not sure what else to do? He doesn't seem to have been on here since April.
All I'm hoping is that he is away on a work consignment and just not had time for his hobby? I know he is theater director so it could just be that he is busy.....
Nothing more I can do than hope I see my goods one day.....

Has anyone heard from Antonio?
I was just looking at my R2 unit and Snowspeeder and they are a work of art. It's such a shame that he had to rip me off and steal my money on my next commission. I was so looking forward to receiving my C3P0 to go with his buddy:cry My brother is very disappointed as he gave me money to commission an R2 unit for him after seeing mine.

I think after this the only choice for the mods is to ban him for bad business practice?
I see he hasn't visited since April.
