Building a neuralizer / neuralyzer replica from the burger king toy

As the title indicates, I want to build a lights-and-sound version of the neuralizer out of a burger king toy. I just bought the toy today, should be here in a week. I know how to do a flash circuit, but the sound circuit going to be a challenge. Can anyone recommend a tiny sound player circuit that might fit in one of these with room left for a camera flash circuit? I'll be consolidating the flash circuit in order to minimize footprint.

Thanks
