So basically I bought an OK look alike of the levis menlo on ebay for $60 used in Skyfall known as the "enjoying death jacket". Now I need to distress this as you can clearly see in the pics the Menlo is heavily distressed. Can any of you fine gentleman help me with how I can achieve this and complete my budget bond outfit?

Is is faux leather or not? That will affect what you can do to it.
If it's real leather you can: Apply acetone to lighten dye
abrade it with sandpaper or 3M pads
Drag it on concrete or similar
Change the texture and fit by wetting (you might shrink it too)
Darken it with leather conditioner or dye

It says its 100% leather on the tag. Does that mean I should be more careful when I use 90% rubbing alcohol/ sandpaper. What would you recommend?
Without having it in hand, I don't know! I've seen some modern jackets labeled 100% that definitely aren't. There's ways to get around that where a manufacturer can use sort of a leather mulch bonded to a fabric and still claim its leather. I would find a hidden area to test first if you have any doubt. I'd be careful with whatever you are doing. I'm not a big fan of artificially distressing a garment without a really good reason anyway.
