Buck Rogers flight suit costume

Hello,

I'm new to posting on the forums but have been using it for reference for quite some time.

My current project is the Buck Rogers flight suits for my girlfriend and myself.
I've searched the forums and see that several people are interested in doing these costumes. Some people have screened used costumes and were going to make patterns. But I can't find anything posted of finished or even progress pics.

If anyone has moved forward with their projects I would like to hear about it. If anyone has made patters from their screen used costumes I would LOVE to take a look at those.

To date I have made the armbands. The patch isn't perfect but it's the closest I cold find. A screen used band is on the left, mine is on the right.

Wish me luck, and any help and info that can be provided is greatly appreciated.

Any progress on the uniforms?

I've tried to work with two different tailors/seamstress' and no joy. I'm very tempted to try it myself if I can't find anyone in the next month. We have a con in Jan with both Gil and Erin.

The EDD Armband is AWESOME so sign me up for 2 when you get them rolling.

THough I am a bit blobby at the moment, I am down for the Buck Rogers goodness. I'll be following this thread carefully.
