BTTF Pepsi Perfect Logo's

Hey guys,

I'm currently working on a 'Back To The Future II' project that involves the 'Pepsi Perfect' logo. I've put about 7hrs of illustrator work into this so far, and created 2 logo's. One that is a direct copy from the bottle prop, and another more polished, more accurate version based on the Pepsi logo seen in the Cafe 80's.

I just wanted to get some feedback as to how good you think these are, and any improvements i need to make.

apologies for the watermarking, but i wanted to project.

The logo on the left looks weird because of the "perfect" text- that kills the proportions.

Below is a screen accurate version of the pepsi perfect logo I made from a rubbing Gary Weaver II posted here

It is an Illustrator file that I posted some time ago in the paper prop section.

I really hope you will share your final versions as well.

I've seen the rubbing, and I have made a version of it also. But although its screen-accurate from a prop pov, I wanted a version without the irregularities it contains. For instance. It's not symmetrical, the lines aren't straight and the curve of the bottle distorts the rubbing.

The bottle logo was never intended to be seen close up, hence why it doesn't look like the left image. From a distance it does though...

Well it is hard to give you feedback if you are doing your artistic impression of the label.

The horizontal segments are a bit out of proportion on your pepsi perfect label.
The one in the middle is too thick in the red an blue area.

Or is that done intentionally too?

All the lines are the same size...but the middle section might be a little bit bigger than it needs to be actually...

It's easy to give feedback, but look at it from an "artistic' view rather than it has to be screen accurate.

Just my $0.02 worth. If I had a choice, I'd take the one on the left. If making a replica prop (as I intend to do), then I'd have to go with the one on the right.

Slightly OT, can you guys share the size of the bottle itself? I've heard 9" tall, but what about the diameter?
