BTTF Emergency cash briefcase

Most movie briefcases are made by 'Zero Halliburton' - metal casing (usually silver), a double row of decorative 'bulge' around the case (for bump/scrape protection to the rest of it)... we can't identify the case from the pic you posted of it wide open, 'cuz we can't see the case. :)

Edit - here's a quick pic of an example... does this approximately fit what you're looking for? There's a number of various subtle styles among their products...

It looks to be made from plexi... possibly custom made for the film. Might have been a fishing tackle/lure box?

Hey, cool project.

I saw the remains of this very iconic piece a couple of times.

The money tray was a custom plexiglas piece built to be inserted into the case. When I found it, the insert had been uncerimoniously ripped out of the case, undoubtedly to use the case for another production. It's a damn shame, I tell ya...

Thanks for the additional pictures. Definitely not a Zero... at least not one I've seen before... could be wrong.

Plexi insert is not a problem.
But the briefcase seem to be more square than the one above.
I begin to collect bank notes scan from every where on the internet.
If you don't want to put your scans on line you can pm me .
All the help is welcome...

Yup, definitely not a Zero Halliburton...

I work in a sheet metal shop and im pretty sure thats a custom made case. the edges look like theve been on a sheet metal break. See how the sides curve from the outside to the inside?
