Bruno - fashion award

Hope someone can help with this , i got a box of movie props off my brother recently ,all have been screen matched bar one ,from the film Bruno which comes with a coa from "premiere props" .I have watched the film several times and just can`t spot it as well as the deleted /extended version.Have i missed it or is it a premiere prop bloop!! I have searched the internet and premiere listed one exactly like it as screen used on live auctions.Thanks.

Not at all. PP gets stuff from all aspects of production. This is likely a cut scene or just made for production piece.

Thanks for the reply ,i know its not a "hero" piece or that one day i will be able to retire on its ownership ,its just annoying when something is advertised as screen seen ,then you cant match it.If the scene ends up getting cut surely it shouldn`t be advertised as screen seen?Anyone buy this one and know where it shows itself-if it does?

I find it annoying too to be honest. The wording on their coa's needs to be changed to reflect this. Bottom line is Premiere does a good job...but I think with a little tweaking in certain areas they could really be a force to be reckoned with. I'd like to see that happen in a world where its harder and harder to get a deal on a screen used prop.

Totally agree ,some of the terms used now especially ,hero etc have been stretched as far as they can , in all fairness it might be in the film and i havn`t seen it -which is quite possible as i have been screen matching 20 odd pieces and my eyes are starting to bleed!!
Pays to do your research before buying that way you can ask any questions on the listing before bidding but unfortunately didn`t have the oppurtunity.

Cheers for that , sorry for late reply ,given up trying to match them unless they are from a cut scene or a u.s release version etc i just could not spot them ,noticed a pair on ebay for $750 recently which is madness considering you dont get to see them !! ( well i couldn`t at least - please someone prove me wrong lol!).

Premier props is a screwball place. They told me make them an offer on a item. Ok I offer them 80% of their listed price thinking thats pretty fair. They come back with we can't do that, but we'll give you 3% off instead and we dont take offers. Really?..forget it then.

Also enjoy the its not our place to screen match or say when it's used. Do your homework. I did my homework and its no where to be found at all. That's why I'm asking you if it at least has a production tag. No tag and nothing to verify it..ok I'm passing.

Still haven't gotten a thing from them. I hear you basically need to talk to dawn to get anywhere.
