Broom Bristles?

Hello! I am new here and i had a question about the harry potter prop replica brooms that some people have built on here. I have no clue what people use for the bristles. I am interested in making my own broom and will not pay $250 for a broom when i can just use natural resources for less cash. Thanks!

You can get cheep Halloween brooms and take them apart for bristles, like this...

Or if you are serious Google up 'wreath making supplies' and you will be able to purchase bundles of different twigs...

I got mine at hobby lobby. they have half price sales all the time so you can get bundles of various colors and types of thin branches for 6.00$ it took me two bundles to get enough for a broom.

I just used those cheap craft brooms (which are sometimes scented like cinnamon..avoid the scented ones) took them apart and had my way with them
