Brian Muir signing in Japan, 20th to 29th July 2010

I'm leaving on the 20th and will be at Wonderfestival. See ya there. Wear comphy shoes to the festival.

Your work rocks... I might add, I have been a HUGE fan of your stuff since I was young. Wish I could get over there to meet ya and get a signature. Best of luck on your trip!!

Thanks for the compliment and good wishes :cheers I'm very often in Florida - I did a signing in April at Clermont so maybe another time.........

Another thing Brian - it can get pretty HOT in that center - make sure you get you one of those little hand held fans - people pass them out all over the place in Tokyo - tuck one in your bag and bring it to the con.
It's a great bonus this year to get to me you.

Hi Brian,

Have you been to Japan before?

If you are doing a bit of sight seeing and possibly get out and about at night Tokyo will take care of itself there is so much to do.

In Kyoto there are many amazing castles, temples and shrines but if you get the chance try to visit Kinkaku ji the Golden pavillion it is spectacular.

In Kyoto for a pint and a place to start the night out The Pig and Whistle is a 'kind of' British pub and many ex pats start the night there. I seem to remember a place called Pub Africa which was good as well.

If you want any info on either city drop me an email if you have any questions.

Japan is one of my favourite places I have lived and worked - you will never meet nicer friendlier people.

Cheers Chris

Thanks for the info Chris - Lindsay and I are being looked after incredibly well by someone who has been highly recommended by many of the well known Star Wars celebrities. Without exeption everyone has said it's an amazing trip and we both feel very lucky to be invited.

Email sent.

Brian

Is it Takahashi-san? Or Mune? or Goro? The Japanese Star Wars fellas are all so wonderful!!
