Bored Sunday project. Scout trooper blaster.

Years ago I bought a couple of these resin kits on eBay of a scout trooper blasters for me and a friend . We needed them for our Biker scout costumes.

well needless to say it was just a recast of the Kenner toy blaster. I built one and found out it was wayyyy too big for the boot holster. I kept both forgot about it.
I ran across the blaster few months back and started redoing the whole thing. Cut off 2 inches off the rear- Cut the handle off and and added copious amounts of bondo.
Not what I would call spot on screen accurate perfect but pretty damn good.
I molded in silicone and cast one up today and while in the shed looking for a tool I found the other kit. Perfect timing for pics.

That's really brilliant work. From the picture I can't tell where the seams are. Your hard work paid off.

nice work! This blaster has always fascinated me, as it seems to be mostly sculpted from scratch and has an unpredictable design.

You did a fantastic job reshaping it.
