Might be worth checking out Nick Tyrrell's work on instagram. He's currently working on a Cad Bane, which is a clay sculpt and then silicone cast. His Bane is based on the Bad Batch Nick Tyrrell Instagram NICE!!!

Hey guys, Im going to be perfectly honest, I dont know much how fabric or soft parts.. Im trying to find Banes coat he's wearing in BoBF

is this considered a "wax" coat? it almost looks like a thick wool to me know? it also has a pattern to it, Im trying to figure out some key words for searching, i have no idea on what to even call this kind of fabric? any advice is greatly appreciate

Back in the late 80s, early 90s, we called them dusters or trench coats

I also see suede in the jacket besides the wool or copy wool

i had suede seats once, they didn't look like this texture.. i honestly dont know the name. i found the "duster" term from a historical site

The collar area looks like it can be suede but the lower area definitely has a pattern of wool or synthetic wool.

Suede looks different once it gets wet, that's what it looks like to me. It's probably not but that was my first thought

I just looked at pages of coats.

Use brown men's trench coat search in etsy

his hat looks like a wide brim bolero

To me the hat looks like more of a wide brim, flat or open crown cowboy hat. Closer to his Bad Batch than the REALLY wide brim from Clone Wars. It seems to play off the William Munny/Marty McFly gunfighter hat. My favorite resource for finding those type of hat then reblocking them is Millers Hats. Open Crown Cowboy Hats

The good thing you have going for you is they probably pulled this out of a 2nd hand store in LA, so it's not some hidden jem only available in the UK

Could be tweed in a herringbone pattern?
The collar has the same herringbone type pattern on it that the lower part in close up does, but looks worn in and weathered. Like it’s wet or has been wet or worn with sweat.

Also the pants have a pattern when he pulls the duster back to prepare to draw.

Gotta get that walk figured out too
