You haven't missed anything. The Tomenosuke Stunt Blaster- resin kit / assembled models are on hold at the moment. Still to be released.
I am sure there will be some information floating around the sale websites and Forums when it turns up for sale to the public.

Cool thanks for the heads up. I can now sit back in my chair and drink some JW in peace.

Inquiry: This info is probably stated in bits-n-pieces around this thread, but just so I got my deets straight;

The PRO Retailer version (2014 release) and the 2049 version (2017 release) both have the matte barrel finish, correct? (HCG Exclusive had the faux-blue barrel)
Differences between these two pieces include the loss of the caliber stamp on the bullets, packaging foam, and gradually LED light-up feature, correct?
Anything else I'm missing?

-thanks!

oh yeah it looks very nice!
I'll finally get mine tomorrow, If I don't get any new bad surprise.It's at the post office, just have to pay 143€ of taxes...
Did you have to pay much taxes in spain? mine got stuck in customs and they asked me for a copy of my paypal invoice because they didn't believe the declared value... no luck...

yeah we can start a contest for the most expensive tomenosuke kit of the year and see if someone can do better than me... :cry

Is this pot metal like the Sidkit?

I believe its a mix of aluminum (sight), steel (barrel covers), and white alloy (remainder, except the barrel and cylinder, which are not allowed to be metal under japanese law). Steyr receiver is Zinc? I think there are more plastic parts than the coyle or sidkit but it's still supposed to be quite hefty. Add aftermarket steel barrel/cylinder and it should weight as much as a real metal firearm.

If you want to make a playable scratchbuilt Blaster from foam or plastic where can you get accurate life size dimensions or a good blueprint?

Do you mean the new one or the PKD? I don't think anyone has specs on the new (gosling) one yet. Anything PKD-related is on propsummit.
